“Once in a rare while, somebody comes along who doesn't just raise the bar, they create an entirely new standard of measurement.”
-Dick Costolo, Twitter CEO
THE PROJECT When I worked at Twitter it was my job as an art director to bring awe-inspiring events to life. We started off with high level ideation sessions with the executive staff and once we hit on an idea, look and feel we all agreed on, it was my mission to collaborate with many internal teams to create it and make it a reality.
The Twitter presence at CES (The Consumer Electronics Show) has to stand out as it’s one of our biggest tentpole events of the year and in 2016 we decided to go all out to create an amazing executive meeting space that didn’t feel like being in a stale convention center allday. This meeting area was one of the biggest request from the executive staff. They insisted that while at CES there needed to be an epic meeting area where the who’s who big tech leadership could come together and exchange ideas. My team and I created a space reminiscent of a ski lodge, where these titans of tech would feel comfortable, relaxed and inspired by the Twitter platform capabilities.
